More Fall Rainy Riding

In order to do a few errands, I need to get out on the Root Beer Bike for transport today. The weather is dreary, 45 and it is misting. Not my favorite riding weather, but better than 90 and 90% humidity!

For gear, I am wearing some basic white socks and old goretex Merrill hiking shoes. I am also wearing some Patagonia corduroy pants. On the top, I am wearing a cotton tee shirt and a wool sweater. I wil wear a Mountain Hardware fleece hat, North Face fleece gloves and a Patagonia shell to keep the wind and water off.

This is my basic outfit, I just add layers as the temp decreases- think Smart Wool baselayers. I also have some hardcore gloves that come out when it gets colder.

We will see how it goes.

Update, I just took the dog out and I will be using my hard core waterproof gloves when I do the errands. Mild squall out there.
